High above the clouds,
And cities.
Down icy glaciers
And sometimes rocks.
In heaven, but also in a dump,
Is Chillie.
Not all of chillie,
But to El Colorado,
A ski resort.
My ski team and I drive and fly for hours,
Enduring countless lines and security checks,
Driving up what seems like a ninety degree slope,
With donkeys and cactuses on all sides.
It definitely doesn’t feel like a ski trip,
This is a desert.
But then past the clouds and,
All we can think about is this is amazing.
Gleaming mountain tops shine from the blazing sun,
We can barely make out chairlifts and people
But wait, more hauling of skis and luggage and waiting.
When we get inside the hotel we realize this isn’t a five star hotel
I don’t even think people bother to rate it.
Cats were walking around
And as soon as we walked into our room the door knob fell off
And we spent the rest of our trip with no doorknob
So our room was everyone just came because you could just walk right in.
But besides the hotel and its food, the skiing was amazing
And think everyone needs to experience
Some of the most amazing skiing
But coming back to a room that had no doorknob, broken windows, 5 cats and bunk beds that just collapse.

Limerick
Winter is the best season ever
But it doesn’t seem to last forever
And it is full of thrillers
Like Mr. Miller,
Who actually isn’t very clever
But it doesn’t seem to last forever

He is definitely no Michael Jordon
But he always tries out
But sometimes he leaves in a pout

But he always tries out
But sometimes he leaves in a pout
